PEMF Therapy
PEMF stands for pulsed electromagnetic field. PEMF + Massage Therapy
This is the ultimate combination of body work. I can assess and work on the horse with my hands feeling tension in your horse so that I know where better to focus the MagnaWave.
To get a baseline on your horse, I perform a static and dynamic evaluation. I look at conformation, muscle symmetry, and biomechanics. I then proceed to work on the whole body, focusing on the areas that have tension by performing effleurage, myofascial work, deep tissue, trigger point, cross-fiber friction, and stretching techniques. You will receive a detailed report after the session, along with some “homework” for you and your horse.Â
The benefits of bodywork include pain relief, injury prevention, relaxation, increased locomotor function, increased circulation, preparation for competitions, and an accelerated recovery time from competitions and training. Bodywork can benefit any horse from retired to grand prix level competitors.
MagnaWave is used in nearly every competitive equestrian discipline for equine performance enhancement, health maintenance, and recovery.
